Orthopedics Research Center (ORC) was founded in 2008, Mashhad, Iran, with the principal purpose of advancing scientific and clinical research in orthopedics and traumatology. This research institute is directed by Dr. Mohammad-H Ebrahimzadeh, professor of orthopedics and shoulder/knee surgeon, and is based in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (MUMS). More recently, ORC have focused on developing innovative and inter-disciplinary research including novel technologies, implants and surgical instruments, to meet the present challenges and needs in orthopedics health care environments. 
Our research applies to a variety of disciplines, including clinical research, biomechanics, biomaterials, and robotics. As a result of its proficiency in developing novel concepts and conducting basic science research, ORC is successful in registering international and national patents, producing prototypes, and running cadaveric and clinical trials to test initiative devices. ORC is now a highly rated research center in Iran, and has successfully manufactured several medical prototypes and commercialized these innovative ideas.

We anticipate lessening the strain on patients and their families by encouraging research into cutting-edge treatments for medical problems.
