Rich Simmonds

Rich Simmonds has held various leadership positions throughout their career. Rich currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at ORTHOSON Ltd since 2018. Prior to this, they were the Director of Sales EMEA, Pharmaceutical Solutions at Terumo Europe from 2016 to 2018. In addition, they served as the Director of Global Marketing, Pharmaceutical Solutions (Interim) at Terumo Europe from 2016 to 2017.

Before joining Terumo Europe, Simmonds worked as a Health Technology Consultant in 2015, where their role focused on delivering global health technology growth. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Owen Mumford Ltd from 2010 to 2015, including Head of Global Marketing and General Manager, International Non-Group Business.

Simmonds also has experience at Strategic Diagnostics, where they served as the Director of International Sales from 2004 to 2009. Rich'sresponsibilities in this role included creating strategic and tactical plans to support market development and growth of existing business.

Earlier in their career, Simmonds worked at Orthofix as an International Marketing Manager from 2001 to 2004 and as an International Product Manager from 2000 to 2001. Rich started their career at Novamedix as a Product Manager from 1997 to 1999.

Overall, Simmonds has gained extensive experience in leadership, sales, marketing, and international business development throughout their career.

Rich Simmonds completed their education at the University of York from 1989 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Physics. Rich further pursued their studies at CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing from 2002 to 2006, obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing.
