Stu Griffith

Stu Griffith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in production management and editorial operations within the publishing industry. Currently serving as the Senior Production Manager for Publications at Optica since March 2005, Stu has contributed to the advancement of scientific knowledge and innovation. Previous roles include Coordinator III at Aspen Systems Corporation, where engagement with the Community Connections program was focused on information dissemination, and an independent consulting career aiding academic publishers and societies. Prior experience includes serving as the Editorial Production Manager at Nature Publishing from 1994 to 1999, where Stu established a production department for several esteemed magazines and managed a significant volume of editorial content. Stu holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications (Advertising and Design) from Loyola University Maryland, earned from 1987 to 1991.
