Amanda Ashford is a Senior Legal Advisor at the OSCE and has served as a Long Term Observer at the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) since 2015. Previously, Amanda held various legal consultancy roles with the American Bar Association - Rule of Law Initiative and ABA/CEELI from 2002 to 2006. They served as the Deputy Head of the Office of Legal Affairs for the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe from 2007 to 2012 and were a Monitoring Officer for the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine in 2014. Amanda earned a Juris Doctorate in Law from The University of Texas School of Law in 1970.
