John Welsh

John Welsh is the CEO and co-founder of Osciflex. John has over 9 years of experience in commercializing technology and conducting market analysis. John was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania from August 2015 to February 2019, where they researched changes in endothelial gene expression in response to hemodynamic changes. John also developed novel mouse models of thrombosis and assays to collect and analyze lymphatic fluid from the mouse thoracic duct. In 2010, they were a research fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

John Welsh earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Virginia Tech. John then went on to earn a Master's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Virginia Tech as well. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biochemistry, Biophysics and Molecular Biology from the University of Pennsylvania.
