Ashwin Ranjit

Ashwin Ranjit has an extensive background in financial services and supervision. They began their career as a Co-op Student in the Finance and Investments Divisions at Sun Life from 1990 to 1993, and later worked as an Insurance Analyst at London Life from 1994 to 1996. From 1996 to 2002, Ashwin served as a Financial Services Consultant at WTW. They then joined the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada in 2012, holding several managerial positions until 2021, including Senior Manager roles in Banking Supervision and Climate Risk. Ashwin also held a Senior Officer position at State Street LLC from 2006 to 2008. They earned a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and completed a Baccalauréat in Actuariat during a one-year exchange at Université Laval.
