Clement Dakat

Clement Dakat, CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, CISA, GOSI, currently serves as a Manager at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada since January 2022, following roles as a Specialist and Principal Analyst. Prior experience includes Risk and Controls Advisory at Farm Credit Canada from October 2020 to January 2022, and leadership as Head of the Internal Audit Group at FMDQ Securities Exchange from January 2016 to January 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing internal audit functions for a significant financial market infrastructure. Clement Dakat has also held positions as Functional Head of the Control & Audit Group, Internal Auditor, IT/Financial Auditor, Group Coordinating Accountant, and Accountant across various institutions. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Cybersecurity from Bow Valley College, an MBA from the University of South Wales, and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, complemented by certifications from the British Standards Institute.
