Jo Kim possesses extensive experience in the fields of financial regulation and policy analysis. Currently serving as a Specialist at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada since January 2023, Jo Kim supports regulatory efforts to ensure the integrity and security of the financial sector while previously developing regulatory policies on digital innovation, including stablecoins and crypto-assets. Prior to this role, Jo Kim worked as a Principal Analyst for the Bank of Canada, contributing to the central bank digital currency team, and held a Policy Analyst position at Finance Canada from January 2018 to October 2022, focusing on payments policy and related regulations. Additional experience includes roles as Executive Director at the International Academy on Law and Mental Health and as a Teaching Assistant at Concordia University. Jo Kim's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and French Literature from McGill University and a Master's Degree in Public Policy and Public Administration from Concordia University.
