Simon Freedman

Simon Freedman is a Senior Specialist in Risk Quantification at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada. They completed their Ph.D. in Elementary Particle Physics, as well as a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Toronto, where they also served as a teaching assistant and lecturer. Previously, Simon held multiple director roles at CIBC, and has experience as a quantitative analyst and market risk manager. Additionally, they contributed to the community as a volunteer tutor and organizer for various educational initiatives.
