Operatori i Shpërndarjes së Energjisë Elektrike Sh.A. (OSHEE Group Sh.A) është person juridik që funksionon si shoqëri aksionare, organizimi i së cilës bëhet në përputhje me parashikimet e Ligjit Nr. 9901, date 14.4.2008 “Për tregtarët dhe shoqëritë tregtare” ( i ndryshuar).
OSHEE Sh.A është regjistruar si person juridik, në Regjistrin Tregtar të mbajtur nga Qendra Kombëtare e Regjistrimit me Numër Unik të Identifikimit (NIPT) K72410014H, në bazë të Vendimit nr. 38587, datë 19.06.2007, të Gjykatës së Rrethit Gjyqësor Tiranë.
Në 23 Qershor 2014 ndërmjet Republikës së Shqipërisë dhe shoqërisë CEZ a.s, është nënshkruar Marrëveshja e Mirëkuptimit.
Kjo Marrëveshje është miratuar edhe me Vendimin e Këshillit të Ministrave Nr. 428, datë 02.07.2014. Marrëveshja e lartpërmendur është miratuar me ligjin nr. 114/2014.
Me Urdhrin Nr.454, datë 22.10.2014, të Ministrit të Zhvillimit Ekonomik, Tregtisë dhe Sipërmarrjes, aksionet e Shoqërisë OSHEE sha, janë 100% në pronësi të Shtetit shqiptar.
Aksioneri i Shoqërisë është Ministria e Zhvillimit Ekonomik, Tregtisë dhe Sipërmarrjes (MZHETS), për llogari të Republikës së Shqipërisë.
Me Vendim Nr. 96 dhe 97 date 27.10.2014 te Bordit te Komisionereve te Entit Rregullator te Energjise Elektrike, Shoqeria  eshte licensuar per  ushtrimin e aktivitetit te shperndarjes  dhe furnizimit me pakice te energjise  elektrike per  konsumatoret tarifore.
