Eric Barker has a strong background in supply chain management and supplier quality engineering. Eric worked at Oshkosh Corporation from 2009 to the present, where they held various roles including Director of Supply Chain and Supplier Performance, Senior Global Manager in GPSC for Supplier Quality Engineering, and Senior Global Manager in GPSC for Supplier Development. In these roles, Eric was responsible for implementing standard processes, methods, and metrics to improve supplier quality and development throughout the company. Prior to their time at Oshkosh Corporation, Eric worked at Joy Mining Machinery from 1997 to 2009, where they held several positions including Regional Quality Assurance Manager, Regional Quality Manager, Plant Manager, and Manufacturing Engineer. Eric gained experience in safety, operations, procurement, quality, and continuous improvement during their time at Joy Mining Machinery. Eric also has experience as a Mechanical Engineer at Provo Steel from 1993 to 1997, where they designed and implemented production of gun safes.
Eric Barker received their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University between 1988 and 1992. Eric later pursued a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Utah State University from 1998 to 2000.
