Jay Junkins

Jay Junkins has extensive experience in global operations, supply chain management, and procurement. Jay has worked at Oshkosh Corporation, where they held the position of Vice President, Global Operations & Supply Chain, overseeing a team of 3,000+ manufacturing specialists and 560 material handlers. Prior to that, they served as Vice President, Global Procurement & Supply Chain & Enterprise Logistics at the same company, leading a team responsible for sourcing, procurement, and logistics of materials.

Before joining Oshkosh Corporation, Junkins worked in the United States Air Force, where they held various leadership positions. This includes Director, Strategy & Budget, where they led a team of 35 in strategic planning and budget execution. Jay also served as President, Logistics & Technical College, overseeing a team of 421 instructors and support staff. Additionally, they held the role of Team Leader, Senior Executive Engagement, supporting C-level executives in the Department of Defense.

Junkins has a strong educational background, with a Graduate degree in Strategic Studies and another in Supply Chain Management. Jay has a track record of successfully managing large budgets and leading diverse teams to achieve organizational goals.

Jay Junkins has a Master of Science degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2002 to 2003. Jay also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The Citadel, earned from 1988 to 1992. In 2011 to 2012, they acquired a Master of Arts degree in Strategic Studies (Strategy & Planning) from USAF Air War College. Additionally, Jay Junkins has several certifications, including Leadership at the Peak from the Center for Creative Leadership (expected in 2023), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS (2019), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB) from the United States Air Force (2019), Air Force Smart Operations 21st Century (AFSO21) - Level 1 from the United States Air Force (1998), and Acquisition Professional - Level I from the Defense Acquisition University (1993).
