Kevin Schmidt

Kevin Schmidt has a diverse work experience history. Kevin started their career as a Student IT at the University of Wisconsin - Fox Valley, where they were responsible for updating the campus website and providing second-tier support for the IT Helpdesk.

Kevin then transitioned to the role of UW-Stout Student Web Developer at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where they worked on web development projects.

After that, Kevin joined Thrivent Financial for Lutherans as an IT Intern, gaining valuable experience in the industry.

Kevin then moved on to Spectrum (formerly Time Warner Cable), where they worked as a Senior Network Engineer, supporting and maintaining the service provider network and enterprise network in the Wisconsin market.

Kevin's most recent position is at Oshkosh Corporation, where they started as a Senior IT Technical Analyst and was later promoted to Lead IT Technical Analyst.

Kevin Schmidt completed their Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management with a Minor in Computer Science and Computer Networking at the University of Wisconsin-Stout from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin Colleges, which they attended from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, Kevin obtained the JNCIA-Junos certification from Juniper Networks in November 2015, and the CCNP certification from Cisco in April 2011.
