“Osim Shchuna” is a social initiative that emerged from the ground as a direct response to the deepening social divisions in Israeli society and the erosion of a shared sense of common ground. These processes intensified during the COVID-19 pandemic, a period marked by young people left without supportive frameworks, rising unemployment, and widespread uncertainty.

Within this complex reality, the critical importance of strong communities became clear, highlighting the power of mutual responsibility, the value of giving, and social solidarity as essential foundations for building community resilience, a sense of belonging, and hope for the future.
