Shoaib Khan

Shoaib Khan has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Shoaib is currently the Co-Founder & CTO of OSlash since September 2019 and the Co-Founder of Tarzan Skills (Real Time Hospitality) since April 2019. Previously, they served as the CEO of Alpine InfoSolutions from January 2018 to February 2019.

Before that, Shoaib held the position of AVP Engineering at BookMyShow from October 2016 to December 2017, where they played a crucial role in building the backend, technology, and CMS for the BookMyShow video platform. During their time at BookMyShow, they also integrated music from global labels and built the backend and CMS for the Jukebox feature.

Prior to BookMyShow, Shoaib was the Executive Director / Co-Founder of nFusion from September 2009 to September 2016. Shoaib was instrumental in building and scaling Veevr.com, one of the top 100 websites from 2008 to 2012, focusing on serving HD video. nFusion was later acquired by BookMyShow.

Shoaib also co-founded and served as the Director of Dramatize, where they built and scaled the largest database of Indian content online. Shoaib also developed an automated subtitling system and a real-time piracy detection system for content. Their tenure at Dramatize lasted from September 2014 to August 2016.

Furthermore, Shoaib was a Director / Co-Founder of Virtualize Services JLT from January 2012 to February 2016. Shoaib was responsible for developing the company, setting future goals and targets, and brand development. Shoaib also played a role in developing management systems and complex automated systems for the company.

Shoaib's early work experience includes an internship as a Web Development Intern at The Imageworks, where they assisted in the development of web projects and managed the conversion of websites to Arabic. Shoaib also had an internship at CEM Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in 2006.

Overall, Shoaib Khan has extensive experience in co-founding and leading companies, developing technology and infrastructure, and scaling digital platforms.

Shoaib Khan completed their high school education at Our Own English High School in Dubai from 1996 to 1998. Shoaib then attended MES Indian School in Qatar from 1999 to 2003, where they pursued a high school degree in PCM and ED. From 2003 to 2004, Shoaib studied at the Indian High School in Dubai and completed their high school education. Shoaib then went on to Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science Engineering degree in the field of Computer Science Engineering.
