Gary Kane

Gary Kane is a Quantitative Scientist at Osmind since May 2023, previously serving as a Data Scientist at Alto Neuroscience where work focused on modeling treatment responses in antidepressant clinical trials and developing machine learning approaches for predicting individual treatment efficacy. Prior experiences include a postdoctoral fellowship at Boston University in the Center for Systems Neuroscience, where Kane led the creation of an automated rodent behavioral testing facility and employed recurrent neural networks to analyze biological neural activity dynamics. Additionally, Kane completed another postdoctoral fellowship at the Rowland Institute at Harvard in the Mathis Lab. Educational achievements include a PhD in Psychology and Neuroscience from Princeton University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Kinesiology from The University of Texas at Austin.
