Greg Warren has extensive experience in computational chemistry and pharmaceutical research. Greg is currently the Senior Director of Computational Chemistry at Osmo since April 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at Reactive Biosciences from February 2022 to April 2023. From October 2019 to February 2022, they were the Director of Computational Chemistry at DeepCure.
Greg also has a strong background in software development and scientific validation. Greg worked as a Senior Application Scientist at OpenEye Scientific Software, Inc from August 2006 to October 2019. In this role, they contributed to the development of protein docking algorithms and ligand fitting applications. Greg also presented technical information on OpenEye software to clients.
Before joining OpenEye, Greg worked at GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals as an Investigator from January 2000 to July 2006. Prior to that, they were a Principle Scientist at SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals from January 1998 to January 2000.
Greg's early career includes positions at Yale University. Greg served as an Associate Research Scientist from January 1997 to January 1998 and held the position of Program in Mathematics and Molecular Biology Postdoctoral Fellow from January 1995 to January 1997. Greg also worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at Hughes Medical Institute/Yale University from January 1994 to January 1995, focusing on developing new structure determination procedures for NMR.
Greg's academic experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Massachusetts Institute of Technology from January 1987 to January 1993.
Greg Warren obtained their Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1988 to 1994. Greg pursued their undergraduate education at Walla Walla University, earning a B.S. in Chemistry and Biology between 1982 and 1986.
