Jacob Sanders

Jacob Sanders is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Osmo, where they focus on innovative technologies for digitizing smell. They are passionate about training deep neural network models to identify critical molecules by their functions. Previously, Jacob was a postdoctoral researcher at UCLA, specializing in machine learning and computational chemistry, where they published 29 peer-reviewed articles. Jacob earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics, as well as A.B. degrees in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics from Harvard University. They have also contributed to academia as a course lecturer and founded a training program for high school chemistry Olympiad participants.
