Adam Stackhouse is an expert in the management of radioactive waste and NORM residues, currently serving as a Senior Advisor (Nuclear Specialist) in Legacy & Waste at the Environment Agency since 2019. Prior to this role, they were a Radioactive Substances Specialist at the Scottish Environment Protection Agency from 2003 to 2019, where they provided policy support and advice on radioactive substances regulation. Additionally, Adam held leadership positions as Vice Chair and Chair of the Radioactive Substances Committee for OSPAR from 2021 to 2022. They earned a PhD in Environmental Science and a Master's degree with distinction in Environmental Analytical Chemistry from Lancaster University and the University of Aberdeen, respectively.
