As CEO, Ed’s more than 30 years of leadership and success in a variety of industries includes a unique combination of expertise and experience with product design, sales, engineering, operations, change management and innovation for technology and services firms, as well as highly-regulated industries including oil and gas.
Ed grew up in the oil and gas industry in South Texas, working in production, and on land drilling rigs for MGF Drilling in Midland, and offshore on Amoco and Mobile Oil platforms. In addition, he worked with clients at oilfield services firms such as Baker Hughes, Reading & Bates and Nabors Industries, and global oil and gas firms including Shell Oil.
Throughout his career, Ed has focused on enabling businesses to deliver unprecedented results. He led product introductions that included Robotics at GE’s Ruska Instrument, and drove revenue growth for newly launched business intelligence platforms at Kronos and SAP. He has been a perennial sales leader at enterprise software companies including his role in the successful IPO of Infinium Software as VP of North American sales. As a principal at The Complex Sale, Ed provided consulting and sales training for Halliburton’s Landmark Graphics, SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Accenture and Deloitte. He was also a founder of the Houston-based oil and gas supply chain transaction hub, Novoforum, which was successfully sold to P2.
