Matthew Bedan

Matthew Bedan has a diverse work experience in the field of compliance and investigations. Matthew is currently working as the Director of Compliance at Ostro since March 2023. Prior to that, they were the Sr. Counsel at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP from October 2020 to March 2023, where they provided legal guidance and handled government enforcement and regulatory compliance matters in the healthcare industry.

Matthew also served as an Adjunct Professor at Florida State University College of Law from June 2020 to March 2023, teaching Data Analytics & Regulatory Compliance. Before that, they worked as an Associate Director at Forensic Risk Alliance from June 2018 to October 2020, specializing in forensic investigations and compliance, including the False Claims Act, FCPA, and UK Bribery Act.

In addition, Matthew has prior experience in compliance audit and investigations at AbbVie from July 2015 to June 2018, as well as in global risk and investigations at FTI Consulting from June 2014 to July 2015. Matthew started their legal career as an Assistant State's Attorney at Will County State's Attorney's Office from 2007 to 2011 and later worked as a Senior Associate at Segal McCambridge Singer & Mahoney from 2011 to 2013.

Matthew Bedan attended Indiana University Maurer School of Law from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained their J.D. degree. Prior to that, they studied at Michigan State University from 2000 to 2004 and obtained a B.A. degree in Business Administration. Matthew also holds a certification as an Anti-Money Laundering Specialist from TRACE International, Inc., but the exact date of obtaining this certification is not specified.
