Alex Ostroy has had a long and varied career in the creative industry. Alex began their career in 1995 as a Designer/Art Director at RDA Integrated, where they were responsible for starting an Interactive division. In 1999, they moved to B Little and Company as an Art Director. In 2001, they joined PLANET THEORY as an ART DIRECTOR, where they coordinated programmers, custom fabricators, and interface designers to create elaborate hardware/software installations. From 2003 to 2008, they worked as a Creative Director at Barnes and Noble, and as a Founder of NYVelocity.com. In 2008, they became an Adjunct Faculty at NYC Art and Design Schools. From 2013 to 2018, they were Creative/Marketing Director at GFNY, where they developed a vision for the brand that helped it grow into an international phenomenon. Alex also worked as Creative Director at LeMond Bicycles, where they re-established the identity and produced innovative designs. In 2018, they became Partner/Creative Director at Ostroy.
Alex Ostroy received their BFA in Design from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1989. Alex then went on to receive their MFA in Design and Marketing from New York University in 1992.
