Walter Tarr

Walter Tarr is a seasoned professional in project controls with extensive experience in the construction and engineering sectors. Currently serving as the Project Controls Director at Otak since January 2022, Walter has facilitated a merger between TWG and Otak to enhance service capabilities. As the Founder of ProjectControls.online since July 2017, Walter developed an innovative online schedule analytics tool. Previously, as Principal at Tarr Whitman Group, LLC from March 2006 to December 2021, Walter supported significant projects for major clients, such as WSDOT and Sound Transit. Walter's career also includes roles at Swinerton, Amoroso Construction, Clark Construction Group, and The Morganti Group, where responsibilities ranged from project management to engineering. Walter holds a B.S. in Architectural Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
