Otakuthon is Quebec’s largest fan-run festival promoting Japanese animation (anime), Japanese graphic novels (manga), related gaming and Japanese pop-culture. It is a non-profit organization that is a part of the Quebec Anime Committee. It is held annually for 3 days in Montreal during a weekend in the summer months. / Otakuthon est le plus grand festival québécois géré par des fans qui fait la promotion de l'animation Japonaise (anime), des romans graphiques Japonais (manga), des jeux connexes et de la culture pop Japonaise.
C'est un organisme à but non lucratif qui fait partie du Comité Québec Anime. Il a lieu annuellement pendant 3 jours à Montréal pendant une fin de semaine durant les mois d'été.
