Brian Lamb

Brian Lamb has a diverse work experience in various roles related to DevOps, application development, and infrastructure management.

Their most recent position was as a DevSecOps Engineer Consultant at Oteemo Inc., starting in February 2022. In this role, they were responsible for implementing and developing secure workflows, automation pipelines, cloud technologies, and infrastructure configurations for the Quest Diagnostics project. Brian also engaged in forensics, analysis, and pen testing.

Before this, Brian worked as a Consultant for Bleeding Edge Websites from October 2016 to January 2022, where they contributed to full-stack application development, configuration, and DevOps.

From April 2018 to March 2021, they served as a Cloud Admin, DevOps, SCM, and SRE at VTM Group. Their responsibilities included managing AWS EC2 Linux infrastructure, implementing optimizations and enhancements, and supporting various AWS services.

Brian also worked as a Software Engineer in Application Development at Precision Castparts from June 2017 to February 2018. Brian was involved in engineering internal and public-facing web apps and processing tabular data.

From November 2015 to October 2016, they worked as a Technical Architect VI at SPI - Software Paradigms International. In this role, Brian engineered infrastructure enhancements for E-commerce engineering projects and implemented DevOps solutions for Health-Software.

Earlier in their career, Brian had roles such as Software Engineer at NWEA, Application Developer at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services, Open Source Web Developer at OCP, LAMP Developer at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and Application Development Consultant at BleedingEdgeWebsites.

Throughout their work experience, Brian has demonstrated expertise in various technologies and skill sets including cloud computing, DevOps, infrastructure automation, scripting, CI/CD, AWS services, application development, and project management.

Brian Lamb completed post-secondary coursework in electronics engineering with a minor in field biology at Mount San Antonio College from 1994 to 1997. Their field of study focused on electrical, electronic, and communications engineering technology/technician.
