Matt Shumer

Matt Shumer is the CEO and Co-founder of OthersideAI, a company that provides AI-written email services in order to free up users' time. Matt is also the founder of Visos, a healthcare virtual reality company, and FURI, a direct-to-consumer sports lifestyle brand.

Shumer has always been interested in technology and its potential to change people's lives for the better. After graduating from college, they worked in various tech startups before eventually starting their own companies. Matt'sfirst company, Visos, was born out of a desire to help healthcare providers offer innovative VR applications to their patients. The company quickly gained traction and was acquired by a larger corporation after just two years.

FURI was Shumer's next venture. Matt saw an opportunity to create a sports brand that was inclusive and accessible to everyone, not just the elite. Again, the company was a success, and Shumer ran it for two and a half years before selling it.

In 2018, Shumer founded OthersideAI with the aim of using AI to improve people's productivity. The company has been a huge success, and Shumer has been recognized as one of the leading voices in the AI space. Matt currently resides in San Francisco with their wife and two young children.

Matt Shumer attended Half Hollow Hills High School East for their education. Matt then went on to Syracuse University - Martin J. Whitman School of Management to study entrepreneurship and emerging enterprises.
