Otherworld Media was founded in 1981 to create programming for public radio,  television, and new media for children and families.  Works produced by Otherworld Media have garnered national and international acclaim with awards including gold, silver, and bronze awards from the International Radio Festivals of New York, the Silver Gavel from the American Bar Association, a Parent's Choice Gold Medal, Grammy nominations, an Emmy, and other prestigious prizes in the broadcast industry.
