Gerry Defries is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leadership and consultancy roles. Currently serving as Client Director at Simmons Gainsford, part of the Sumer Group since April 2025, and as a Financial Consultant for both C-RW and Othrys since early 2023 and March 2020, respectively. Gerry has been the Director of Defries Weiss (Accountants) Limited since 2010 and previously owned Defries Weiss LLP from 1976 until 2010, as well as running Gerry Defries Artist from 2011 to 2015. Additional experience includes serving as Finance Director at Traction Technology PLC from 2008 to 2009. Education was completed at the Royal Masonic.
