Rune Grunnet

Rune Grunnet is an experienced Principal Platform Architect and Senior Software Specialist at Oticon, where a focus is placed on enhancing the connectivity of hearing aids through advanced wireless audio streaming and Bluetooth solutions for Android and iOS applications. Prior to this role, Rune Grunnet served as an Embedded Software Developer, specializing in Bluetooth accessories and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, with significant contributions to driving innovation and ensuring compliance with IEC 62304 and FDA regulations. Earlier experience includes a position as R&D + Master Student at Radiometer Medical and a Student Assistant role at Thrane & Thrane. Rune Grunnet holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
