Stefan Thormar

Stefan Thormar is an experienced Project Director at Oticon, leading the development and release of Demant hearing aids with a focus on long-term projects extending towards 2028. Previously, Stefan served as R&D Manager and Release Project Manager at Oticon, where responsibilities included managing the software release process for fitting solutions. Earlier professional roles include Senior R&D Program/Project Manager at Nokia Mobile Phones, overseeing international teams for mobile phone platforms, and managerial positions at Ericsson and Rescom A/S, where Stefan co-founded the company and contributed to microwave and embedded system designs. Stefan holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.
