Karen Malabre

Karen Malabre is a skilled Disability Claims Leader with extensive experience in managing disability claims and leading high-performance teams. Currently serving as the Manager of Group Life & Disability Claims - Learning and Development at OTIP, they previously held director roles at both Securian Canada and Sun Life Financial, where they ensured the successful delivery of claims services and exceeded client service level agreements. Karen has a strong background in continuous improvement and project delivery, coupled with a passion for coaching and mentoring team members to foster collaboration and excellence. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Commerce at the University of Toronto, while also having completed their Honours OSSD at TFS - Canada’s International School.
