Principle Engineer

Mark Orelup is an accomplished academic and engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and program management. Since September 1998, Mark Orelup has served as an Adjunct Professor and Director of the Mechanical Engineering Technology Program at the University of Hartford. Concurrently, Mark Orelup has been a Principal Engineer at Otis Elevator since March 1995, where responsibilities include managing the coated steel belts group. Mark Orelup holds multiple advanced degrees from the University of Southern California, including MS degrees in Engineering Management, Product Development Engineering, and Systems Architecting and Engineering, as well as a PhD and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Mark Orelup began academic pursuits with a BS in Physics from Butler University.
