Mariah Bates

Mariah Bates, SHRM-CP, has extensive experience in human resources and payroll management, currently serving as the Benefits, Payroll, and HRMS Manager at Otter Tail Corporation since March 2020. Prior roles include Human Resources and Benefits Compliance Specialist, Payroll Benefits Administrator, and Payroll Benefits Technician at the same organization. Mariah also briefly held the position of Human Resources Manager for The City of Fargo in August 2023. Previous experience includes serving as Payroll/Human Resources Specialist for Belgrade School District and Head Dance Coach for Fargo Public Schools. Mariah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Concordia College, completed in 2016.
