Ali Korkmaz

Ali Korkmaz has extensive work experience in the renewable energy and engineering sectors. Ali is currently serving as the Director of the Solar Energy Group at ECOGREEN ENERJİ since January 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded Bottobo Robotics in 2020 and NeverEnd Battery in 2016.

From 2018 to 2021, Ali worked at Parla Solar A.Ş./Aydem Enerji Holding as an SPP Electrical Executive. Ali was responsible for the strategic planning and execution of solar power projects.

In 2017, Ali joined Solartechno Europe B.V. as a Project Engineer, where they contributed to the development and implementation of solar energy projects.

Ali also gained experience as a Project Manager at AEC Engineering Electrical Construction Co. from 2016 to 2017, managing the Tarlabaşı 360-361 project and leading the electric team.

Additionally, Ali has worked as an Electrical Works Executive at DO & CO Group from 2014 to 2016 and as a Project Coordinator at Yeşil Güç Energy Co. from 2013 to 2014.

Before entering the private sector, Ali served as a Lieutenant in the Turkish Navy from 2013 to 2014.

Ali'scareer began in 2012 as a Project Team Leader & Solar Power Plant Project Developer at ELSAN ELEKTRIK MÜHENDISLIK-TAAHHÜT, where they gained valuable experience in the renewable energy industry.

Ali Korkmaz completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Yildiz Technical University between 2006 and 2011. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, which they completed between 2012 and 2016. In addition to their academic qualifications, Ali Korkmaz obtained several certifications, including MS Project Professional from ISTANBUL INSTITUTE in February 2016, Operation of High Voltage Systems from the Chamber Of Electric Engineers Ankara Branch in April 2013, and SMM Licence from the Chamber Of Electric Engineers Ankara Branch in July 2012.
