Kathrin Pohl

Kathrin Pohl is a seasoned Senior Industrial Designer at Ottobock, specializing in Systems Engineering focused on the development of prostheses and orthoses since February 2016. With a strong emphasis on user-oriented design, Pohl contributes to the acceptance and effectiveness of orthopedic products. Previous roles at Ottobock included Research Industrial Designer for the EU-funded project Symbionica and positions in prototype development and foot prosthesis design. Pohl's experience also encompasses industrial design at CINOGY System GmbH, where involvement in the creation of marketable plasma application devices occurred, and internships at Møller-Jensen Innovation og Design, Spacewood GmbH, and Merck. Pohl holds a Design Diploma in Industrial and Product Design from Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Frankfurt International School.
