Matthew Read

Matthew Read has extensive experience in the medical device sales sector, particularly in orthotics, having worked at Ottobock since September 2008 in various roles, including National Account Director and Director of Sales - Orthotics. Matthew oversees the US orthotics direct sales force and manages partnerships with 1099 and distribution partners, focusing on strategic planning and goal attainment. Prior positions at Ottobock include Senior Regional Sales Manager and Regional Sales Manager, where Matthew achieved significant growth in sales across regions. Earlier in Matthew's career, experience as a Sales Representative and Patient Service Representative built a strong foundation in account management and customer service. Additionally, Matthew served as Assistant Baseball Coach at Ottawa University from November 2003 to August 2008, overseeing coaching and recruitment for the university’s teams. Matthew holds a Master of Science in Sports Management from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Ottawa University.
