John Robinson

John Robinson has worked in various roles in the media industry for over 25 years. John began their career in 1994 as an Account Executive at WSTM. In 2000, they moved to WNYT as a Regional Salesperson. In 2006, they joined WMHT as Director of Corporate Support, where they were responsible for hiring underwriting representatives, budgeting, and selling production services. In 2010, they became General Manager East at AXXESS Media for WCNY Public Broadcasting. Since 2011, they have been President and CEO of Our Ability, Inc., a web-based tech company building employment through Jobs Ability. John'sgoal is to empower employers to understand and leverage the increasingly valuable employment population of people with disabilities.

John Robinson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Project Management from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in 1990. John then went on to pursue a Master of Arts in Disability Studies from the CUNY School of Professional Studies, which they completed in 2023.
