Our City Innovation Lab is a catalyst for community-driven innovation and entrepreneurship in Detroit. We empower youth through education, hands-on experience, and mentorship in entrepreneurship, skilled trades, and professional development.
Our mission is to foster a vibrant ecosystem of entrepreneurs, skilled tradespeople, and professionals while revitalizing Detroit neighborhoods. Through our programs, we aim to create pathways to economic mobility and generational wealth for community members.
Key Initiatives:

Rose City Innovation Lab Summer Academy: An intensive 6-week program teaching entrepreneurship and real estate development skills to current and former students at Jalen Rose Leadership Academy

Skilled Trades Incubator: Hands-on training and mentorship in construction, renovation, and sustainable building practices
Business Incubator: Support for local entrepreneurs to launch and grow small businesses
Community Development Projects: Student-led ventures that rejuvenate neighborhoods and promote sustainability
