Our Local Languages

Our languages. Our roots. Our future.

"Our Local Languages" is a cultural and educational initiative dedicated to the promotion, transmission, and writing of heritage languages, starting from early childhood.

We believe that every language carries a worldview, a collective memory, and invaluable knowledge. Through education and writing, we work to ensure that these languages remain alive, are passed on, and find their place in contemporary spaces of learning and creativity.

Our actions are structured around three main pillars:

✍🏾 Writing & children’s literature
Creation of content and stories for children that integrate heritage languages, nurturing imagination, strengthening cultural identity, and encouraging multilingualism from an early age.

🎓 Education & transmission
Design of educational materials, facilitation of reading and writing workshops, and awareness-raising on the importance of language in children’s cognitive and cultural development.

🌱 Memory & linguistic heritage
Highlighting linguistic richness through proverbs, storytelling, oral traditions, and writing, with deep respect for cultures and communities.

"Our Local Languages" is a space for creation, sharing, and transmission, driven by the belief that passing on a language means passing on a history, dignity, and a future.
