David H. is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and team management across various companies and roles. Currently serving as a Sr. Engineering Manager at ŌURA since May 2022, David oversees teams that enhance the ŌURA smart ring. Prior to this, as Director of Engineering at Wyze, David led a 30-person mobile team, successfully scaling operations in Seattle and restructuring teams in Beijing. Experience also includes engineering management at Whistle Labs and Foursquare, where responsibilities included managing mobile engineering teams, developing applications, and supporting diverse projects. David has a solid foundation in QA and development roles from earlier career stages, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley.
