Gerald Pho is a highly skilled data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning and neuroscience. Currently serving as a Staff ML Data Scientist at ŌURA since July 2020, Gerald has contributed to the development of a breathing rate algorithm that leverages electrocardiogram data to enhance existing metrics. Previous roles include Health Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science and Postdoctoral Fellow in Neuroscience at Harvard University, where Gerald focused on the neural basis of reinforcement learning and developed automatic behavioral training systems.
