Simon R.

Simon R. is currently the Vice President of Software Engineering at ŌURA, focusing on wearable wellness since May 2023. Prior to this role, Simon co-founded and served as CTO at Proxy, where digital freedom was a key initiative, leading up to its acquisition by ŌURA in May 2023. Simon's extensive experience includes engineering roles at Jive Software and YouTube, as well as CTO positions at Inporia and Omnisio, the latter being acquired by Google. Earlier career highlights involve engineering work at Sensory Networks and a teaching assistant position at the University of Sydney. Simon holds multiple degrees, including an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a combined Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Science from the University of Sydney. Simon is also an alumnus of Y Combinator, having participated in two separate cohorts.
