Ori Sobovitz

Ori joined OurCrowd as Head of Government Relations and Israeli Partnerships. Earlier to this position, Ori served as a Board Member and Chief of Staff at the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA), earlier known as the Office of the Chief Scientist. IIA is Israel's central agency to manage the government budget (currently over $450 million annually) to support R&D, innovation, and technology infrastructure, including the budgeting and financing of high-risk projects and products. In parallel, Ori served as a Member of the Exemptions and Mergers Advisory Committee at the Israel Antitrust Authority. Beforehand, Ori worked at the Bank of Israel as a consultant to the Governor and the monetary committee. Ori also had served as a lecturer on Microeconomics and Macroeconomics at Ariel University and the Jerusalem College of Technology. Ori participated in the senior leadership program "Maoz" which included sessions at Harvard Business school.
