Ouso takes its name from the Ancient Greek Ousia—the essence of being.

We believe the next frontier of intelligence is not only to become more capable, but to remain oriented toward the person it serves. We are building personal intelligence that understands a human being across time and context, so that as machines reach farther into the world, human judgment, identity, and intention can move with them.

We imagine intelligence as a continuation of human will—carrying judgment across contexts, intention into action, and the self beyond the limits of any single moment or system. To extend the reach of human will, so that wherever intelligence can go, something essential of us can go with it.
