Jamie Stokes

Jamie Stokes is a highly experienced electrical design engineer with a strong background in optical and RF engineering. Since October 2021, Jamie has been serving as Principal Electrical Design Engineer at Ouster, following a tenure as Principal Electrical Engineer at Sense Photonics from April 2019 to September 2021. Jamie's expertise includes the development of 100GbE optical transceivers and previous roles such as Principal Engineer at Kaiam Corporation, where involvement spanned early R&D to final product design and testing. Prior experience includes designing frequency converters and multiswitches at Global Invacom Ltd, contributing to RF equipment for military Satcoms at Airbus, and working on Low Noise Blocks at Channel Master. Jamie holds a Master of Science in Physics with Laser Science from Heriot-Watt University.
