Out Left Productions Ltd. is an award-winning, boutique production company that works in both animation and live-action.

Based in Dublin, we are an independent, creatively led boutique studio established in 2015 by Richard Keane to develop original projects of the highest quality for both domestic and international audiences. With a strong focus on disruptive innovation, we have built a reputation for bold, imaginative storytelling — producing acclaimed short films and now expanding into feature films and television series.

As our name suggests, we are drawn to stories with an “out of left field” perspective — ideas that surprise, resonate, and stand out from the crowd. Our vision is to create high-concept, genre-driven work designed for a global audience.

We are currently developing a dynamic slate of short films, TV series, and features across animation and live-action, in various stages of production and development. Our goal is to collaborate with a diverse range of creative voices, at home and abroad, to bring fresh, original stories to life.
