Stead Burwell

Stead Burwell has an extensive work experience, primarily in the healthcare and technology sectors. Stead is currently the Founder & CEO of Outbound AI since March 2021. Before that, they served as the Managing Director of Software & Platform Development at Tegria from September 2020 to March 2021. Previously, Stead was the Chief Executive Officer of MultiScale from January 2019 to August 2020. Stead also held the position of EVP Solutions Management & Marketing at Swisslog Healthcare from August 2017 to August 2018. Stead served as a Board Member and Acting Chief Executive Officer at Talyst from July 2015 to August 2017. Additionally, they were a Strategic Advisor at Columbia Pacific Advisors, LLC, where they led the strategic sale process of Talyst and advised on various acquisitions and portfolio management from 2014 to 2017. Before that, Stead was the CEO of Alliance Health Networks from 2006 to 2013. Stead started their career as a Partner at UV Partners from November 2001 to August 2005 and had a role in Investment Banking/Equity Research at Lehman Brothers, Inc. in 1998 and 1999.

Stead Burwell pursued their higher education at the University of Virginia, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Relations from 1988 to 1992. Later on, they attended the University of Virginia Darden School of Business from 1996 to 1998, earning their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
