John Schaefer

John Schaefer has extensive experience in the legal field, with a focus on corporate law and compliance. John served as the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer & Secretary at Outcomes™, a private equity-backed technology company, where they provided counsel on various legal issues and oversaw the company's legal and compliance activities. Prior to this, they operated their own firm, Schaefer Legal Services, P.C., where they provided corporate law services to outside clients. Earlier in their career, they held a senior leadership role as the Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer & Secretary at TriZetto Corporation, where they led the legal department and managed a team of professionals. John began their career as a Corporate Associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, representing public and private companies in transactions and providing general corporate advice.

John Schaefer earned their Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern California from 1996 to 1999. Following that, they attended New York University from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained a Juris Doctor degree in Law. In 2002, they became a California Licensed Attorney after receiving certification from the State Bar of California.
