Sam Beran

Sam Beran started working at Pearson in 2005 as a Software Developer, where they contributed to the development of three student information systems and worked on caching and high-performance score collection for the online testing tool TestNav. In 2012, they joined the University of Iowa as a Senior Application Developer, specializing in the development of a communications engine. In 2013, Sam became the Lead Android Engineer at Third Iron until 2016. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at TelePharm, initially as a Senior Software Engineer and later promoted to Dev Manager. Currently, Sam is the Director of Engineering at Outcomes™, where they lead the development of various pharmacy-centered products.

Sam Beran attended the University of Iowa from 2001 to 2005 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
