Joseph Sirak

Joseph Sirak has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and positions. Joseph began their career as a Global Consulting Intern at 5Links in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Leidos, where they focused on sentiment analysis and event recognition. Joseph then joined Ciena as an Undergraduate Research Fellow, where they conducted research on data center network architectures.

In 2017, Joseph interned at GE Digital as part of the Predix Cyber Security Response Team. Joseph gained experience in cyber security during this time.

Joseph joined Appian Corporation in 2018 as a Senior Software Engineer. Joseph played a significant role in building and securing infrastructure, configuring Kubernetes clusters, and providing advisory services to multiple teams. Joseph continued to work at Appian until 2021, contributing to various projects.

From 2021 to 2023, Joseph served as a Senior Software Engineer at Snowflake. Joseph made substantial contributions to resource definition, secret management infrastructure, and Kubernetes cluster scaling and maintenance.

In 2023, Joseph joined Outerbounds as a Senior Software Engineer.

Joseph Sirak completed their high school diploma at Saint Joseph High School from 2008 to 2010. Joseph then pursued an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Engineering at Montgomery College from 2013 to 2015. Joseph furthered their education at the University of Maryland, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Engineering from 2015 to 2017.
